Our Pick of the Week: Feast in the East

Feast in the East is a music, food, and installation series held monthly in Toronto’s east end.

This month’s edition will be held at Jam Factory Co. (2 Matilda St.) and features a free dinner by Stephanie Fielding and Heather Rule, including roasted portobello mushrooms with fresh herbs and potato salad with smoked hard-boiled eggs. Music will be provided by gothic avant-folk ensemble Picastro, the improv-based Charles Spearin’s Roadside Silhouettes, soul music magician Isla Craig, and folk singer A. Minster. Environs by Melissa Fisher.

$8 advance tickets (includes a free dinner) can be purchased at Circus Books & Music, Cask Music, Rotate This, and Soundscapes. $10 at the door or $13 with food. All ages welcome.
