Help Raise Funds For TO’s Own ‘High Line’

Help Raise Funds For TO's Own 'High Line'

The Green Line (much like NYC's High Line) aims to transform the hydro corridor that runs from Earlscourt Park to Spadina Road into one big, interconnected park and trail. It will unite neighborhoods that have been identified as being sorely lacking in green space, and will provide a great natural escape for residents and tourists alike.

Last year, new green spaces were acquired to add to the trail, and a pollinator garden was created. This year, supporters hope to continue to make this dream a reality.

On March 31 at 360 Geary Avenue, Park People will host the Green Line Fundraiser & Celebration. You can expect a night of music, prizes, art, booze, and fun, with live music feat. Coral King (members of Hush Pup) and Girls Rock Camp, a silent auction, and snacks by Fat Pasha.

Tickets are only $10 and all the proceeds from the event go to support work on the Green Line. For tickets and more info, visit here.
