Toronto is coming together to welcome Syrian Refugees!

Toronto is coming together to welcome Syrian Refugees!

On Saturday December 5th, make a difference for our new neighbours. A clothing drive will be held at The Ossington from 2pm to 6pm to welcome the incoming Syrian Refugees to Toronto.

Our federal government has pledged to take in 25,000 Syrian refugees before the end of the year. Help make them more comfortable this winter by donating your gently worn clothing. (All donations will be accepted but please note there is a particular need for decent winter stuff for young adults and also new socks and underwear.)

Some notable supporters are The Junction City Music Hall, Bunz Trading Zone, and even Voice Integral School in the Distillery District.

Donations will be delivered to New Circles Community Services and distributed to their clients, including all Syrian families settling in the GTA with the help of Lifeline Syria. Cash donations also accepted, and will be donated to Lifeline Syria.
