Get out of the house and bring your little ones to Planet ROM for an intergalactic journey through space!
From December 26 to January 3, the ROM invites families to explore a faraway galaxy that includes a Mars rover prototype, a touchable meteorite from Mars, a Space Arcade and more! Take a tour to the planets, learn about stars, meet aliens, get inspired by astronauts, and learn about ancient astronomers in a whole new way. Planet ROM is F-U-N for everyone!
Museum visitors will also be treated to on-site ice carving, delicious culinary experiences for children, and extreme balloon artistry by Mark Verge. Kids can help decorate a festive tree with origami creations, and live family entertainment is provided by the Toronto Fringe and Zero Gravity Circus. For the smallest ones, ROM's Early Learner Lounge will host interactive musical journeys with Mabel Moon. C-U-T-E!
Of course, when you and your kids are done exploring Mars, you can go say hi to the dinosaurs, get spooked in the bat cave, or go digging for treasures in the archaeology sand pits. WE LOVE THE ROM!
