Fun fact: 48% of Canadian women 18-34 hide their snacks from prying fingers of roommates, coworkers and partners.
Can you relate? I DEFINITELY can! In fact, it was just last week that I had planned the coziest evening in for myself after a rather busy stretch. I had a chilled bottle of rose (basic but delicious; GET OFF MY JOCK), the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race cued up on my laptop, a pile of freshly laundered blankets on the couch and a bag of my very favourite White Cheddar Smartfood popcorn in the pantry, or so I thought….turns out, my husband had discovered the bag the night before and DEVOURED it, leaving me nothing but a few crumbs.
While I couldn't blame him for lacking self control when it comes to Smartfood popcorn, I did recognize that I needed a better strategy for keeping my snacks away from his grubby little fingers. That's when I came across the #SmartStash campaign and had an "AHA" moment. I even heard RuPaul's voice in my head, "Hide your snacks, kitty gurl!"
I won't tell you where my #SmartStash is (it's a HUGE secret) but I can tell you that it's been working like a dream!
