| | | Phillip -- Wow. The response over the past few days has been strong. Over 2,700 Canadians have chipped $99,798 toward our $150,000 April goal -- I'm so grateful. But time is running out and according to our calculations, we need your contribution to put us over the top. What's more -- while we had our best ever Q1 this year at $4.0M, we expect Conservative fundraising results to be out very soon. They have likely surpassed ours so we need you now more than ever. Stephen Harper was in power for a decade in part becase he had the strong Conservative fundraising machine behind him – and this latest result could be evidence that it is as strong as ever. We can't rest on our laurels or take anything for granted. The Conservatives will be more motivated than ever, and by the looks of it, have lots of money to put toward attacks and the next campaign. We absolutely can't let ourselves be outraised by the Conservatives -- and if we're going to keep closing the gap, it will be thanks to Canadians like you.
