Scotiabank SCENE Visa has your Entertainment Budget Covered

joy-movie-review-by-matthew-luke-brady-771916

I just received my new Scotiabank SCENE Visa in the mail, and by the weekend, I was enjoying a free flick at The Varsity. Guys, I've told you already, but I'm going to say it again: IF YOU LIKE MOVIES, THIS IS THE CARD FOR YOU!

THERE ARE SO MANY AMAZING FILMS IN THEATRES RIGHT NOW! My top four must-sees are: Joy starring JLaw (ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!), Carol with Cate Blanchett, Sisters (Duh, I'd never miss a film with Tina & Amy), and the holy-amazing, sensational Star Wars: The Force Awakens, with sets and special effects that will BLOW YOUR MIND. (Especially if you watch in 3D! THIS IS THE FUTURE.) (I'm not even a fan and I adored it.)

So, how does this points thing work? What's the dealio? Scotiabank SCENE Visa points add up fast, and these are points that you will use. A week in, and my points are adding up! What makes this card so great is that it's the fastest way to earn points. As soon as you apply and get approved, you automatically get 2000 points, just by making that first purchase. (Ahem, that's TWO FREE MOVIES!) Beyond this, the Scotiabank SCENE Visa allows you to enjoy dinner and a movie using your scene points at a bunch of resturants so you can choose to either have a freebie date night with your loved one (dinner + movie), or grab a bite using your card and rack up some points for your next night out.

Restaurants include Swiss Chalet Rotisserie & Grill, Harvey's, Milestones Grill & Bar, Montana's BBQ & Bar, Kelsey's, East Side Mario's, Fionn MacCool's, D'Arcy McGee's, Paddy Flaherty's, Tir nan Óg and Bier Markt. OPTIONS, people. Lots of options.

So, if your New Year's resolution was to get out more, save money, create a smart monthly budget, start a film blog, become an actor, win the office Oscar pool, have more fun OR ALL OF THE ABOVE, the SCENE Visa card is the card for you. Sweet, eh?
