Hi! This is Kalid from BetterExplained, thanks for joining the newsletter.
My goal is to help you grasp new ideas, and have fun along the way. We often get stuck in a cycle of cram/memorize/forget, with no lasting insight. It's completely unsatisfying: ideas should click and be remembered months (or years) later. Details fade, but a true insight changes your point of view.
If you have a minute, I'd love to know:
1) What topic do you wish you understood better? (Me: statistics)
2) What challenges do you have right now? (Me: finding the actual insight in the mess of equations, it's rarely discussed openly!)
3) Has any article on the site been particularly helpful? (I'd like to do more like it.)
